Ofu Obi Africa Centre, the CIDJAP-owned conference and retreat facility in Enugu, played host to the birthday celebration of Very Rev. Msgr. Prof. Obiora Francis Ike on 7th April 2026. The celebration followed an Anniversary Mass held earlier that morning at Holy Trinity Parish, Independence Layout, Enugu.

The event brought together religious leaders, development partners, academics, and well-wishers from across Nigeria and beyond to mark Msgr. Ike's 70th birthday, his 45 years as a Catholic Priest, and the 40th anniversary of the Catholic Institute for Development Justice and Peace (CIDJAP).

Ofu Obi Africa Centre provided a fitting setting for the occasion, reflecting the centre's capacity to host significant institutional, religious, and celebratory gatherings in a serene and well-appointed environment.
